Canada Border Services Agency Assessment and Revenue Management (CARM) Project Update

The Canada Border Services Agency has provided an important update regarding implementation of CARM 2.0. The requirement for commercial importers to register via the CARM portal and comply with new regulatory standards has been delayed until May 2024.

In October 2023, the CARM Release 2 system will be available for selected industry partners who want to test their own internal systems and for software service providers to continue to certify their software with CARM.

As registration becomes available, Noatum will be proactively engaging clients to register using the CARM Portal and review security requirements.
