Noatum Logistics wanted to provide you with the latest update regarding the ongoing strikes in Canada’s Western Province of British Columbia and its effects. Please take note of the following:
Day 3 of the Strike:
There will be no vessel operations, rail operations, or gate operations today.
Negotiations Resuming:
Negotiations are expected to resume today, 7/3, at 08:00 PST.
CP (Canadian Pacific) Rail Advisory (Interior of Canada):
Effective from 0001hrs on Monday, July 3rd, CP Rail will no longer accept REEFERS.
Export operations to the Port of Vancouver have already been suspended. This includes loading and departing activities. Gates at CPKC (Canadian Pacific Kansas City) terminals will remain open for the acceptance of dry exports and empties. Currently, it is anticipated that shipments will be accepted until Tuesday. Import pickups are expected to continue as usual without any impact.
