New flagship set to open in 2023

Noatum Logistics UK is building a state-of-the-art 230,000 sq. ft. distribution centre in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, to support a new five-year logistics contract with a leading Global retail fashion brand.

Construction is proceeding well and the project team is on schedule to receive the facility’s keys on the 19th of December 2022, following which a six-month £multi-million-pound intensive fit out programme will commence, to create an additional 300,000 sq. ft. of space and a total of 530,000 sq. ft.

The Biggleswade warehouse is due to be commissioned and go-live in the summer of 2023, which will create up to 200 new roles, with new team members joining and opportunities for existing colleagues to develop their careers within Noatum Logistics.

Biggleswade is our biggest UK facility to date, with 15m clear height to eaves, with 24 dock-level doors, 4 level-access doors and 43 lorry parking spaces. It will be powered with solar panels and drive towards Net Zero Carbon.

The warehouse solution will be Semi-Automated with installation of innovative handling systems including conveyors between the floors and robotic support for pick & put-away, with capacity for over 3 million items.
