U.S. RESCINDS 10% TARIFFS ON ALUMINUM PRODUCTS FROM CANADA<\/a><\/h3>\n

On September 15, 2020, the United States Trade Representative (USTR) office announced in a Statement on Canadian Aluminum that they will \u201cresume duty-free treatment of non-alloyed, unwrought aluminum.\u201d This change will be effective retroactively to September 1, 2020. CIT COMPLAINT MAY LEAD TO SECTION 301 REFUNDS<\/a><\/h3>\n

On September 10, 2020, a case was filed in the Court of International Trade (CIT) asserting that the List 3 and 4A tariffs violated the Trade Act of 1974 and the Administrative Procedures Act (APA) by failing to prove that there was an unfair trade practice which required a remedy and for failing to follow required statutory provisions making those actions invalid under the APA.\u00a0Read more<\/a>.<\/p>\n

CHINA TARIFFS: LIST 4A PRODUCT EXCLUSION EXTENSIONS ANNOUNCED<\/a><\/h3>\n
