The good news has also been confirmed by Osama Rabie, head of the Suez Canal Authority<a title=\"Suez canal has been unblocked\" href=\"https:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/2021\/03\/29\/africa\/suez-canal-refloating-intl-hnk\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener, nofollow noopener\">, according to his statement in state TV, published by CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It is expected that the canal is ready for passage during today. The waiting for the 369 ships stuck in a tailback to pass through the canal on either side of the blockage is finally over, although there is still a long way to regain the normal traffic in the main maritime route between Asia and Europe.<\/p>\n<p>It will take a while for the supply chain to get back to normal.
