In addition to service limitations, the customer\u00a0felt its warehouse provider was not pricing its services competitively. Familiar with the portfolio and professionalism of\u00a0Noatum Logistics, the customer asked us to analyze the situation<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=&#8221;stretch_row_content&#8221; center_row=&#8221;yes&#8221; typo_style=&#8221;light&#8221; bg_type=&#8221;bg_color&#8221; seperator_enable=&#8221;seperator_enable_value&#8221; seperator_type=&#8221;triangle_svg_seperator&#8221; seperator_svg_height=&#8221;35&#8243; el_class=&#8221;redgradientbg&#8221; bg_color_value=&#8221;#dd9933&#8243; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1583946305078{padding-top: 100px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;boxwhy&#8221;]<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"text-center\" src=\"https:\/\/www.noatumlogistics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/strategy-01-1.svg\" alt=\"\" width=\"50\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"parallax-title text-center\">The strategy<\/h2>\n<p>Noatum Logistics realized we could provide\u00a0the customer\u00a0a one-stop shop for all of their supply chain needs, from origin to destination.<\/p>\n<p>We recognized that we needed to quickly fix their warehouse management process by greatly improving inventory flow as well as\u00a0visibility for better planning and much greater flexibility.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;boxwhy VinetasRed&#8221;]<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"text-center\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/solution-01-1.svg\" alt=\"\" width=\"60\" height=\"60\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"parallax-title text-center\">The solution<\/h2>\n<p>Noatum Logistics added warehouse management services to the international freight forwarding and customs clearance services we already were providing. This gave\u00a0the customer\u00a0an end-to-end solution for their supply chain, which would allow for more control and visibility to their product.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the warehouse management service,\u00a0Noatum Logistics set up processes to handle and ship orders to\u00a0the end\u00a0customers, including rush orders with specialty needs. The Noatum\u00a0Logistics\u00a0services enable\u00a0the customer\u00a0to meet customers\u2019 specific delivery requirements such as delivery appointments and carrier selection.\u00a0Noatum Logistics also supports\u00a0the customer\u2019s\u00a0e-commerce efforts, with Intranet orders sent directly to us for picking, packing and shipping.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the\u00a0Noatum Logistics service, the customer is able to get real-time data through a Web portal. This is used as a daily tool to assist\u00a0the customer\u00a0in tracking inventory, reporting shipped orders, and maintaining pre-determined inventory levels.<\/p>\n<p>Noatum Logistics also helped\u00a0the customer\u00a0to quickly establish EDI connections with their large retail customers. EDI allows\u00a0the customer\u00a0to reduce operational costs, improve reporting accuracy and speed, and reduce cycle time from order placement to product delivery.<\/p>\n<p>The customer and Noatum Logistics value continuous improvement in their collaborative relationship. The customer is able to run a full inventory cycle, from booking the shipment overseas with their manufacturer to delivering the product to their customers, using one service provider \u2013\u00a0Noatum Logistics.<\/p>\n<p>This has proven to be a very efficient way to manage and track their inventory at all times. Our services contributed to the customer\u2019s growth over the past four years. Rush deliveries are no problem with over 80 percent of orders shipped the same day and the remaining 20 percent shipped the following day.
